About this event

Reiki I for Mothers is a full-day introductory training with Alyssa Johnson Wellness in East Bridgewater. The class teaches Reiki I specifically through the experience of motherhood, with an emphasis on self-care, co-regulation, and ways Reiki can be incorporated into everyday moments of caring for yourself and your children.

The day covers the history and foundations of Reiki, its traditional uses, and how to begin practicing on yourself and others. Students receive a Reiki I attunement during the class, along with instruction and practice. A Reiki I manual, Reiki-infused token, and certificate of completion are included, and participants are eligible to continue to Reiki II afterward.

What makes this training distinct is its focus on motherhood rather than Reiki as a standalone modality. Alyssa connects the practice to the kinds of touch already woven into family life, from holding a child’s hand to comforting them when they are unwell, while also creating space for mothers to reconnect with their own care and sense of self.

The class is designed for mothers who are new to Reiki and want a practical introduction they can begin using both personally and within family life.
