These Terms of Service (‘Terms’) govern your use of estara.space. By accessing or using estara.space, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These Terms govern your use of Estara, operated by Estara LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company. “Estara,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Estara LLC. “You” refers to any visitor or user of this site. These Terms are accessible via a link in the footer of every page; submitters of spaces and events agree to additional terms at the point of submission.
1. What Estara Is - and Is Not
Estara is an editorially curated discovery platform. We research, select, and present spaces, events, and experiences that meet our curation standard. That is the entirety of our role.
Estara is not an event organizer, booking platform, ticketing service, venue operator, travel agent, or healthcare provider. We do not sell tickets, process payments, manage registrations, or act as a party to any transaction between you and a third-party space, organizer, or practitioner.
Listings on Estara originate from several sources: direct submissions from space owners and event organizers; publicly available information about events and spaces that we choose to feature based on our editorial judgment; and, occasionally, events hosted or co-facilitated by Estara itself (see Section 2). Regardless of source, every independently operated space or event is the sole responsibility of its owner, organizer, or host.
Our editorial curation reflects our judgment that something is worth knowing about. It is not an endorsement, certification, or verification of any kind.
2. Estara-Hosted Events
Estara may occasionally host, organize, or co-facilitate its own events. When we do, those events will be clearly identified as Estara events on the listing. Separate terms - including any applicable waivers, registration terms, or refund policies - will be presented at the point of registration for those events and will govern your participation in them. The general liability disclaimers in these Terms apply to your use of this website regardless.
3. Accuracy of Listing Information
Listing information on Estara - including event descriptions, dates, times, locations, pricing, practitioner details, and space details - may originate from space owners, event organizers, or publicly available sources. While we make reasonable efforts to present accurate information, we cannot guarantee it is accurate or current.
Events may be cancelled, rescheduled, or changed by their organizers without notice to Estara. Where we have a direct relationship with an organizer, we ask them to inform us of material changes - but we cannot control whether they do. If we are not aware of a change, we cannot reflect it. We are not responsible for discrepancies between what is listed on Estara and what you experience, including cancellations, pricing differences, or changes to event details.
Before attending any event or engaging with any space, verify current details directly with the organizer or space owner.
4. Editorial Curation - Standard and Limits
We select listings based on genuine editorial judgment: a considered sense that something is worth showing up for. This judgment is personal, subjective, and informed by our experience.
Our curation standard does not mean we have personally attended every event, visited every space, or independently verified practitioner credentials, safety practices, insurance coverage, or legal compliance. Listing on Estara is not a certification of any kind. Participant due diligence - including assessing whether a practitioner is qualified or a practice is appropriate for your circumstances - is your responsibility.
Estara reserves the right to add, modify, or remove any listing at any time, at our sole discretion, without notice or liability.
5. Health, Safety, and Personal Responsibility
The experiences featured on Estara may include physically demanding, emotionally intensive, or altered-state activities - including but not limited to breathwork, yoga, somatic practices, sound healing, shamanic ceremonies, cacao ceremonies, plant medicine-adjacent practices, cold exposure, and movement work.
Nothing on this website constitutes medical, therapeutic, psychological, or professional health advice. Estara is an editorial platform, not a healthcare provider. All content is for informational and editorial purposes only.
You are solely responsible for assessing whether any listed space, event, or practice is appropriate for your individual circumstances, and for consulting a qualified healthcare provider before participating in any activity that may affect your physical or mental health. By choosing to attend any event or engage with any space found through Estara, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk. Estara is not liable for any injury, illness, adverse reaction, emotional distress, property damage, financial loss, or harm of any kind - including death - arising from your participation in any activity associated with a listing on this site.
6. No Liability for Event Outcomes
To be direct: if you attend an event found on Estara and something goes wrong - you are injured, the experience is not what was described, the event is cancelled, the refund policy is unsatisfactory, or you feel misled - your recourse is with the organizer, not with Estara. Our listing creates no liability on our part for outcomes.
7. Third-Party Spaces, Events, and Practitioners
We do not control the operations, conduct, or safety practices of any independently operated space, event, or practitioner on Estara. We are not responsible for the accuracy of descriptions or credentials they provide, for any financial transactions between you and a third party, or for the actions or omissions of any organizer, practitioner, or space owner.
Links to external websites do not imply endorsement. Any dispute arising from your interaction with a listed third party must be directed to that party directly.
8. Submission Terms - Spaces and Organizers
Space owners and event organizers who submit listings to Estara confirm at the time of submission that:
- All information submitted is accurate and up to date to the best of their knowledge
- They have the legal right to submit all photos provided, including any necessary permissions from photographers or individuals pictured
- If submitting an event held at a third-party space, they have appropriate authorization to promote that event
- They will notify Estara of material changes, including cancellations, date changes, or changes to space availability
- They will not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Submission does not guarantee listing. Estara reviews all submissions and publishes at our sole editorial discretion. We do not publish every submission we receive.
Estara may also list publicly available information about events and spaces without a direct submission relationship. In those cases, no submission agreement applies, but we still represent the information as accurately as we are able. Estara reserves the right to remove or modify any listing at any time. To request removal, contact hello@estara.space; we will process requests within up to 7 days. Listings raising urgent safety concerns may be removed immediately.
9. Intellectual Property
All original content on Estara - including editorial copy, curation, descriptions, photographs (unless credited to a third party), design, and branding - is the property of Estara LLC and is protected by applicable copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site without prior written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Estara is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Estara LLC - and its members, employees, contributors, and agents - shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of this website, any content found on it, or any space, event, or experience accessed through it - including injury, illness, emotional distress, property damage, financial loss, or death - regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain liability exclusions; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Estara LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses - including reasonable legal fees - arising from your use of this site, your violation of these Terms, or your interaction with any third-party space, event, or practitioner found through Estara.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall first be addressed informally by contacting us. If unresolved, it shall be submitted to the state or federal courts of Massachusetts, to whose jurisdiction you consent.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
